About the Practice

Pinnacle Fertility - Chandler is the East Valley flagship of Pinnacle Fertility's Arizona operation and serves patients from Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Queen Creek, and the broader Phoenix metro. The practice was founded in 2005 by Dr. Nathaniel Zoneraich as Advanced Fertility Care (AFC) and operated under that brand for nearly two decades before becoming a founding clinic of the Pinnacle Fertility network in 2021. Pinnacle Fertility is a private-equity-backed national platform that now includes more than fifteen member practices — including Institute for Human Reproduction (Chicago), Reproductive Science Center of the Bay Area, Carolina Conceptions, Fertility Centers of New England, and Northwest Fertility Center — and the Chandler clinic represents the Arizona anchor of that footprint. The Mesa office relocated to the current 1475 W. Chandler Blvd. address in 2023, consolidating the East Valley patient base into a single expanded location with on-site embryology.

Physicians

Nathaniel Zoneraich, MD, FACOG is the founding physician, Medical Director of Pinnacle Fertility Arizona, and Chief Medical Information Officer for the Pinnacle Fertility network. His clinical focus includes fertility preservation, IVF, donor-egg IVF, and advanced hysteroscopic surgery.

Frederick W. Larsen, MD, FACOG is board certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. What This Practice Is

Pinnacle Fertility - Chandler is a SART-member clinic reporting outcomes to the CDC ART National Summary through the SART CORS registry. Verified outcomes are published by clinic in the SART Clinic Summary Report. The Chandler facility houses an on-site embryology laboratory operating under CLIA certification, enabling in-house oocyte retrievals, ICSI, vitrification, biopsy for PGT, and frozen-embryo transfer without outside lab referral.

Arizona Insurance Context

Arizona is not a fertility-coverage-mandate state. Neither IVF nor diagnostic infertility services are mandated for insurer coverage under Arizona law, and most privately-insured patients pay out of pocket or through employer-sponsored fertility benefits (such as Progyny, Carrot, or Maven). Before your first consult, see our guide to fertility insurance mandates by state and review how to read IVF success rates so clinic marketing doesn't substitute for SART-verified numbers. The Chandler clinic's financial team works with PatientFi and several fertility-specific lenders for self-pay patients.

Patient Experience

The clinic holds a 4.8-out-of-5 rating across 155 patient reviews, one of the strongest Arizona REI scores. Recurring themes include Dr. Zoneraich's direct communication style, continuity from the legacy Advanced Fertility Care team that remained through the Pinnacle transition, and responsiveness from the nursing coordinators. Appointment availability in Chandler is typically within one to two weeks for new-patient consults.

Considering At-Home Insemination First?

For patients without a diagnosed fertility issue — including single parents by choice, same-sex couples, and those exploring donor sperm before clinical care — at-home insemination kits from MakeAMom offer a private, reusable, lower-cost starting point. See our preconception health guide for cycle-timing and fertility-window basics before deciding whether clinical care is the right next step.

When to Consult an REI

See a reproductive endocrinologist if you have been trying to conceive for 12 months without success (six months if you are 35 or older), have a known diagnosis such as PCOS or endometriosis, have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss, or want to preserve fertility before medical treatment or planned delay.

Location & Contact

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same clinic as Advanced Fertility Care?

Yes. Advanced Fertility Care was founded in Arizona in 2005 by Dr. Zoneraich and rebranded as Pinnacle Fertility after joining the Pinnacle Fertility network as a founding practice in 2021. The clinical team, location, and patient records transitioned intact.

What is Pinnacle Fertility?

Pinnacle Fertility is a national REI network that operates more than fifteen member clinics across the United States. Individual practices retain their clinical teams and local brand identity while sharing back-office services, egg-banking infrastructure (MyEggBank), and outcomes reporting.

Is the Chandler location SART-reporting?

Yes. The practice submits cycle data to SART CORS, and verified outcomes by age cohort are available through the SART Clinic Summary Report linked above.

Does insurance cover treatment in Arizona?

Arizona has no state fertility mandate, so coverage depends entirely on your employer's plan. The clinic's financial team will run a benefits check before treatment planning.
